Craft Beer Meets Conservation: Local Brewskis Fuel Godwit Migration Festival

Join us for an inspiring day of environmental stewardship at the Kokte Ranch and Nature Preserve! On Saturday, March 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., local conservation enthusiasts will gather to participate in a critical habitat restoration project focused on supporting our local salmon populations.
This hands-on event, titled Roots and Rivers: Restoring Habitat for Local Salmon, offers community members a unique opportunity to directly contribute to the preservation of our region's delicate aquatic ecosystem. Located at 2182 Old Arcata Road in Bayside, the event will bring together volunteers passionate about protecting and revitalizing critical salmon habitats.
Participants will engage in meaningful restoration work, learning about the importance of salmon to our local environment and the steps we can take to ensure their survival. Whether you're an experienced conservationist or a first-time volunteer, this event provides a chance to make a tangible difference in our natural landscape.
