Health Warriors: VUSM Students Launch Groundbreaking 'Healthy 'Dores' Campus Movement

Vanderbilt University's School of Medicine Public Health Student Association recently launched its inaugural Healthy 'Dores Week, transforming campus life from March 31 to April 4 with a dynamic series of free events designed to promote student wellness and community engagement.
The week-long initiative showcased a diverse range of activities aimed at supporting student health and personal development. Highlights included a critical end overdose training session, which equipped students with essential life-saving skills, and a serene mindfulness and meditation workshop that offered participants strategies for stress management and mental well-being.
A standout event was the annual Global Health Symposium, which brought together students and experts to discuss important public health challenges and innovative solutions. Julia Landivar Donato, a second-year public health student, was among the participants contributing to the vibrant and educational atmosphere.
By offering these comprehensive and accessible events, the Student Association demonstrated its commitment to holistic student support and creating a culture of health and learning at Vanderbilt University.
